Little Shopping at Greenhills Tiangge
December 22, 2008
We had the chance to roam around on one of the busiest Tiange in Metro Manila, the Greenhills Shopping Center. That was last Tuesday, December 16, after hubby’s medical appointment at the Capitol Medical Center. We hit the place at exactly lunch time so we had our meal at our favorite steak house, Mini’s, inside Shoppesville. I had my forever craved porterhouse steak and hubby had his fave lengua estofada. It was an enjoyable meal, as always with Mini’s.
We went strolling at the Tiangge and found some little things along the way. I wanted to stay longer coz I haven’t found the right T-shirts that I like and possibly a nice formal handbag but Hubby was in a hurry. I thought I could come back before Christmas, but with few remaining days, I doubt if I still can.
Holiday Glass Frames from Zenni
Eyeglasses are one necessity for woman of my age whose eyesight tends to have some problem as we mature. I have heard of the popular online eyeglasses shop and started to look for a nice new frame. I just saw these Holiday Glass Frames from Zenni Optical and I can’t help being attracted to various fashionable frames available. I’m amazed that they have such an affordable $ 8 Complete Rx Eyeglasses too. There are so many beautiful frames to choose from. Can’t make up my mind which one to choose. This one looks great though.
Christmas Shopping
December 14, 2008
Christmas is just few days away but I haven’t gone Christmas shopping yet. The thought of being caught in traffic jams and getting dizzy hopping from one store to another hinders my shopping plans. I’m just so thankful, there is online shopping.
In search for the right gifts for my hubby, son and daughter, I logged on the net. I easily found the one for hubby which a pair of Adidas Superstar 2G rubbershoes. Son is into basketball so I didn’t have a difficult time choosing what gift to buy him. A Wison basketball, I think is perfect to replace the old ball he is using with his friends. Daughter is kinda sporty too! She plays Frisbee with college friends every time they meet and reunite at the UPLB campus every now and then. So I think, a Frisbee flying disc will make her happy. What a relief!
I you haven’t completed you Christmas shopping yet, let alone haven’t started it at all, I suggest you do it online to avoid the hassles and bustles of crowded mall shopping.

A lazy extended weekend
December 1, 2008
It’s a non-working holiday today here in the Philippines. The actual legal holiday is November 30 - Bonifacio Day. But it is moved to December 1 which is today, a Monday making the weekend longer to give chance to promote local tourism. We usually take advantage of such long weekends but since daughter’s work schedule is not the normal work schedule, we just could no longer enjoy the typical out of town family bonding we used to have. We have to fix our own sked to daughter’s now. Anyway, home is where we spent the long holiday. I was trying to start fixing the Christmas decors but decided to wait for the “angel” to finish her cleaning in the garage. Hopefully next weekend, everything would have been fixed and decorated. Hopefully too, laziness won’t take over me.
