Some Funny Signs

July 17, 2008

I visited my niece Raquel’s blogsite and found these funny signs on her post. Jon, her brother, e-mailed them to her. They really made my day. I just wish I was included in that e-mail’s addressees. But hey,  here they are just the same.  I grabbed them from her blog. Thanks, Jay!

I hope they also bring smiles on your faces.

Hi there….

I just read your comment about my poging Tatang…hehe. He was a looker alright kaya ata chick magnet eh. But he was the best father to us of course.

Kakatuwa that you mentioned you call your father “Ama”. My Nanay was a Bulakenya so she called her parents “Ama and Ina”. We thought it was so formal. Kasi kaming magkakapatid aside from calling our parents Nanay and Tatang, we would also call them “Sharon and Gabby” pag medyo may tampuhan sila…hahaha.

We’re blessed indeed to have the kind of fathers we had.

Enjoy your weekend.

To Juliana: My father was originally from Pulilan, Bulacan. So that’s how we called our parents, Ama and Ina, just like your Nanay to her parents.
