On blogging. . .

 I am excited when I was first introduced to blogging.  It feels good to have an outlet for all your unspoken thoughts and inner feelings. It’s fun to interact with co-bloggers from all over the world. I enjoy reading all the blogs I came across with and I am very often impressed by the personalities behind those blogs. My day passes so quickly without noticing the time.  I’m no longer bored as I was before. And best of all, I earn my own money through blogging. (Actually,  I  have saved enough for a  Bangkok  Tour.) All these are the advantages of Blogging for me. .  But wait, ain’t there a disadvantage where there’s an advantage?!

Yeah, maybe, sort of.  Here at home, although it’s a weekend and everybody’s around, no sound can be heard.  Nobody  talks.  Just for the reason that each one is busy with their laptops.  No more time for each other. No more story telling, no more exchange of jokes. Eating out is set aside as well as some walks somewhere.  Just like what emerged on lunchtime today, we were supposed to eat out but it turned out that no one bothered to stand up and prepare to go.  So what happened is I was forced to prepare food.  The easiest  l did  for a last minute preparation available in the ref was a Chicken dish.  Another upsetting move was the cancellation of watching the Pyrolimpics. (Or was it because it was just me wanting to come?! Why would they care!)  And there goes the disadvantages of blogging. . .  a family all together but not exactly together.  . . .Sigh!Pouty

I can see what you mean with the disadvantage of blogging. Fortunately, ako lang ang nag blog here in the house as the husband works outside and the little one, well, she’s too little to blog…

Maybe next time you can turn off the electricity…haha…just kidding….

So everybody in your family blogs? Wow! When I started blogging in 2006, the blogworld was very personal, everybody who visited your blog read your posts and left comments. I’ve done it for only 4 months and stopped to start reviewing for the board. I must admit that for that 4 month period I got hooked, but I knew my priority so I just had to stop and move on. Anyway, when I went back blogging again, everything changed, everybody seems to rush, nobody bothers reading your posts anymore let alone leave a msg. Every minute is precious to get high ranking and to get more opps. I guess even if we earn from blogging, we should not lose sight of what is still important - being with our family.

yes, Mira is right even if we want to post as many entries as possible priority is priority and that’s family, mahirap din pala pag bloggers pareho like you and Tom (regards sa kanya) but maybe you can set one day or one night off blogging weekly or semi-monthly where the whole family will spend a night together dining or relaxing somewhere. With my family ako lang ang blogger because my 3 kids are too young pa kaya mas ok pa. talagang ganyan siguro lahat ng bagay may advantage and disadvantage, anyway in all things give thanks to HIM eh tingnan mo may pang-tour ka pa oh di ba? nice visiting you here beng, btw got you tagged at http://www.racelsite.bravejournal.com/entry/24398
